Corridor, San Francisco

At Van Ness and Market, in the bustling new civic center area, is Corridor.  Glass windows, an airy feel, and a hip style, Corridor is elegant comfort food. This was Stephanie's choice to finish off 2016. The meal was very nice, with clean, simple dishes that were delicious and filling. Here we are enjoying a bottle of wine!!!

TUBA

Yes, Tuba. Restaurant Club explored Turkish cuisine in Dionne's pick.  Tuba’s food melds the best of all Mediterranean cultures. Inspired by Romanesque Mediterranean villas, and influenced by the myriad peoples who settled in that wondrous part of the world, Tuba is a delightful mix of exotic cultures, inspired in the homes, hearths and taverns of the rugged land of Turkey. Tuba’s food melds the best of all the Mediterranean cultures. This was fun, delicious and definitely one to return to.

Mission Chinese

Well, this was fun and dive-y and apparently, completely difficult to get a reservation because this place has become so popular! Fancy Chinese in a dive spot was a fun twist to R Club. This was Gail's pick for the fall! The menu was not your typical Chinese take-out and included favorites such as fried hamachi collar, kung pao pastrami, and matcha & squid ink noodles (YUM!).

Blind Tiger, Oakland

Restaurant Club East --- headed to Blind Tiger on Telegraph. What a cool, funky place, underground and with a party vibe. Very unique, beautifully decorated, fun food and drinks. The most memorable was probably the dessert - snow cones, basically! Shaved ice. Really good! This was Julia's pick for May 29, 2016.

Piqueos: Peruvian Cuisine

HELLO 2016!!! (yes, late start). What a lovely little spot in Bernal that Stephanie picked out! We had a delicious assortment of starters and tapas, such as Tequeños ( Shrimp-mozzarella stuffed wontons with chicha morada sauce and Avocado Mousse - deep-fried yummy), quinoa-encrusted shrimp (pictured below), short ribs, scallops, plantains, and 3 incredible desserts including dulce de leche (to die for). Stephanie's baby girl Mia is now 3 months old and Stella just turned two! Izzy is about to turn 3, and Sasha will be 11 this month (and Matthew turned 10 in December)!!  It's just ridiculous. I love these gals so much. March 6, 2016
